Deryck can also play the drums and somtimes lets fellow band-mate Steve do all the singing. He has grown to be quite messy as he only takes 1 paie of pants and a few shirts on tour with himself because one time he took everything he owned on tour ( CDs, TV etc. ) and had it all stolen on the third day. He used to be a huge fan of basketball but went off it since his basketball hero, Micheal Jordan, quit. He does most of his shopping at Goodwell and Thrift stores and has spent at the most, $20 on an item of clothing. He uses orange 0.66mm. guitar picks, a Gibson guitar with 6 strings and a Marshall 100 watt stack amplifier. He loves French toast for breakfast and, as a snack, his fave is cookie dough. He measures only 5'5 feet and his current girlfriend, Paris Hilton is said to be always teasing him about it. His shoe size is 7 and his mum works as a nurse. He is said to be wanting to make a clothing make called ' Evil Dwarf Clothing Cult.' His fave live band is Green Day and he has been cutting his own hait with kitchen scissors for years. He hates all animals.

Steve is known for making lines in songs like ' trashed my own house party cos nobody came' in Fat Lip and writing Pain for Pleasure. He also plays drums with his shoes off, uses American Classic 5A drum sticks and a Tarma 5 Classic drum set. His fave sandwich filling is mustard, he likes chocolate mint ice cream and also monkeys ( not to eat ). One time he was in a hotel and there were some soldiers who were making fun of the bands' hairstyles so he pooed in a bag and threw it at their door! His shoe size is 10 1/2 and his dad is in a Christian rock band.

Jay uses an Ampeg 8 by 10 bass cabinet and an Ampeg SVT bass head. He, like Steve, loves monkeys and also Wine Gums. He got the nickname ' Cone ' from Steve and Deryck at school beacause every lunchtime he had an ice cream cone. His shoe size is 9 1/2 . Before joining Sum 41 he was in a band with Avril Lavinge's guitarist , Evan.He has two sisters, Kate and Alison and his dad's name is Paul. Oh, and he's always farting ( like my sister ). One time, he was left on stage with nothing on from waist downwards cos his belt broke and his boxers were too baggy!

Guyanese guy, Dave is meant to be the most sensible member of the band. He uses a PRS McCarthy guitar with 6 strings and his fave animals are penguins. He loves curry flavoured crisps as a snack and his shoe size is 8. He says that his fave moment in the studio was when Jay farted loudly and all of his guitar strings broke!
